Swedish heavy metal veterans Lion’s Share have unveiled a new video and single for the song Batized In Blood, which also comes with a lyric video. Check it out below.
The single Baptized In Blood comes from the band’s new album “Inferno” – their first studio album in 17 years, due out March 27 on Metalville.
The influence of the 1980–1987 era runs deep on the new album too. You can especially feel the inspiration from Black Sabbath’s Mob Rules and Ozzy Osbourne’s Diary Of A Madman.
Formed in 1987 in Sundsvall, Sweden, Lion’s Share have earned themselves a reputation on the European heavy metal scene, sharing stages with metal and rock icons like Motörhead, Saxon, Dio, Manowar, U.D.O. and Dee Snider, among others. With “Inferno”, their seventh studio album and first full-length since “Dark Hours” (2009), the band returns sharper and more focused than ever.
You can already pre-order “Inferno”.
The album was produced and mixed by Lars Chriss, with mastering by Mike Lind. All the music on the album was written by Lars Chriss and Nils Patrik Johansson. The cover art and design come from Blekkmark Design Studio.
