Embrace Of Souls, the Italian symphonic power metallers, will release their new studio album “The Battle Of The Dead” on May 22, 2026 via Rockshots Records.
You can check out the single and video for Desolate Lands below. The video was directed by Nicola Pedrali.
The new single comes from the fantasy concept behind “The Battle Of The Dead”, a story set in a world ravaged by a mysterious plague that turns souls and leads to the final clash between the living and the dead. The album explores themes of power, betrayal, sacrifice, and hope.
Alessio Garavello handled the mixing and mastering at Rogue Studio in London.
Embrace Of Souls was founded by Michele Olmi. Originally conceived as a studio project, it eventually grew into a proper band, bringing together top-notch musicians from the Italian metal scene. The album also features special guest Morby (Domine), who contributed vocals on the track The War.
