Gloryhammer, the new-era standard-bearers of British power metal, are unleashing a fresh single and video for Starfighters of Leuchars, taken from their upcoming studio album “Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath”.
“Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath” lands on 10/16/2026 via Napalm Records.
You can already pre-order “Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath”.
The video for the latest single was animated and edited by Alex Henderson. Check it out below. It follows the earlier singles Die With A Sword In My Hand and Warriors of Auchtermuchty.
Gloryhammer have also announced the dates of a new (massive) European tour, with Majestica and Arion along for the ride. The closest they get to Slovenia is on 11/10/2026, when they play Vienna, Austria (at Arena – pretty much right across from the Gasometer). Italy isn’t on the list of tour stops this time.
The album was produced by Gloryhammer and recorded across several studios. Drums were tracked by Josh Haworth at Grand Studio, guitars and bass were recorded at Longwave Studio (by Tom Williams), vocals were recorded by Arnaud Menard at Sicarius Studio, and additional vocals by Sozos Michael at Power Metal Studio.
The album was mixed and mastered by the legendary Jacob Hansen at his Hansen studio (in Denmark).
The album cover (below) was created by Dan Goldsworthy.
