Hällas, the Swedish progressive rockers from Jönköping who describe their sound as so-called adventure rock, dropped their new studio album “Panorama” today, January 30, 2026.
All the music on the album was written by Hällas. It was recorded at Matchtown studio (Huskvarna), then produced and mixed at Treasure Sound studio. Mastering was handled by Frida Claeson Johansson (Svenska Grammofonstudion). The album is out via Äventyr Records.
“Panorama” is the band’s fourth album. It follows their debut “Excerpts From a Future Past” (2017), then “Conundrum” in 2020, and the third record, “Isle Of Wisdom”, in 2022.
Among other influences, the band cites 70s Italian progressive rock, so it’s no surprise that Italian pops up now and then in the lyrics, as hinted at in the album’s opener, the prog rock suite Above the Continuum, which runs over 21 minutes.
