Häven Unveil Video and Single “The Light Brigade”
Häven, a newly formed Spanish symphonic metal band led by singer Gabrielle de Val and featuring Swedish guitar virtuoso Tommy Denander, have unveiled the fourth single from their upcoming debut studio album “Where Angels Fear To Tread”: the track The Light Brigade.
The album “Where Angels Fear To Tread” is coming out via Pride & Joy Music on November 13, 2026!
You can check out the single and video for The Light Brigade below.
Before this, Häven had already released the singles Zirkus Rosarius, The Scarlet Letter and Dancing Rainbows (all below).
The Light Brigade takes us back to the Crimean War, 1855 to be exact. The Light Brigade was a British cavalry unit the English used against the Russians to charge enemy positions. In one particular action, the cavalry launched a head-on attack against the Russian forces. The Russians were waiting in a much better position, dug in with artillery, and the cavalry was crushed. A true ordeal. According to some accounts, even the Russians themselves figured the English had to be drunk to go through with such madness.
By the way, the album title is identical to the second album by the British 1980s band Heaven, who put out a record with that very name in 1983. That album featured special guests including Glenn Hughes, Ronnie James Dio and Lita Ford.
Häven are:
