Immolation, the cult New York death metal crew who dropped their new studio album “Descent” on April 10, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records, have followed up the release with a third single and video, this time for the track Bend Towards The Dark. Check it out below.
Ever since their 1991 debut “Dawn Of Possession,” Immolation have been pushing the standards of innovation to a whole new level and influencing generations of extreme metal all over the world. Their sound remains one of a kind, built on Bob Vigna’s unique guitar phrasing.
Below you’ll also find the singles and videos for the tracks Attrition and Adversary.
The album “Desent” was recorded in two locations. Justin Passamonte tracked guitars, bass, and vocals at Jpass Music, while Noah Buchanan recorded the drums at Mercinary Studios. Zack Ohren once again took production on his shoulders, with Immolation also chipping in. Ohren handled the mixing and mastering as well.
The cover art comes from the renowned Elian Kantor. The album’s booklet interior was illustrated by Santiago Jaramillo.
