John Corabi Unveils Video and Single “That Memory”
John Corabi, the legendary hard rock vocalist who recently joined the Italian label Frontiers Music Srl., will release his first solo studio album, titled “New Day”, on the label on April 24, 2026.
Below you can check out the new single from the upcoming album, the track That Memory. It follows the singles When I Was Young and the title track.
“New Day” is already available to pre-order.
Corabi, known for his thunderous vocals and the rich legacy he’s left behind with Mötley Crüe, The Dead Daisies, Union and The Scream, has picked Marti Frederiksen as his close collaborator on the songwriting and production of the album. Frederiksen is an old studio hand for The Dead Daises.
Corabi promises a record in the style of the ’60s and ’70s, and the band he’s chosen to back him in the studio includes his son Ian on drums, among others.
John Corabi is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who hit the music scene in 1991 with The Scream on Hollywood Records. On a sprawling tour across the United States, John grabbed the attention of radio, MTV, fans and critics with the songs Man In The Moon, I Believe In Me and Father Mother Son.
After Vince Neil left in 1992, Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe reached out to John and asked him to join the band to write and record their 1994 self-titled album. During the recording of the next album, “Generation Swine”, in late 1996, Vince Neil returned to the band, and John teamed up with former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick to form Union.
Union hit the studio in 1998 and recorded their debut. Between 1998 and 2001, John put out three albums with Union. He then left Union and joined Ratt on their summer tour in 2001, handling guitar and backing vocals. John toured non-stop between 2001 and 2008, then left the band and went solo.
In 2012, John released the acoustic album “Unplugged”, followed in 2018 by the live album “Live 94, One Night In Nashville” and a few solo tribute singles. In 2015, John got a phone call asking him to join an all-star collective called The Dead Daisies, and since then he has recorded the albums “Revolución”, “Make Some Noise”, “Live And Louder”, “Burn It Down”, “Light Em’ Up” and, most recently, the blues covers record “Looking For Trouble” with The Dead Daisies.
