Judas Priest, metal pioneers and legendary British lineup, are heading back to Croatia after more than two decades, and on August 25, 2026 they’ll take the stage in the timeless setting of Pula’s Arena!

One of the most influential bands in metal history will play Pula as part of the European “Faithkeepers” tour, giving the crowd a career-spanning set from a band that’s been at it for more than half a century!

Judas Priest are considered one of the most influential groups in the history of metal. Their career spans more than five decades and has marked the evolution of the entire genre. Formed in 1969 in Birmingham, a city many call the cradle of heavy metal, they quickly became synonymous with the metal sound. Over the years the band built a reputation as one of the biggest live attractions on the scene, and their importance is confirmed by a long list of honors, including a Grammy Award and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In the eighties they became a global live phenomenon and headliners of the world’s biggest festivals, such as Monsters Of Rock, which cemented their status as one of metal’s most important institutions. The influence of Judas Priest reaches far beyond the music. They also had a major hand in shaping the visual identity of heavy metal, popularizing the instantly recognizable look of leather and studs, which eventually grew into a symbol of the whole metal culture.

Judas Priest released their latest album, their nineteenth, “Invincible Shield”, in early March 2024. Critics and fans welcomed it with great enthusiasm, proof that more than five decades after forming, Judas Priest remain one of the strongest and most relevant bands on the global metal scene. Their discography from this period includes a collection of cult albums, among which “British Steel”, “Screaming For Vengeance” and “Painkiller” stand out in particular. These releases gave us timeless metal anthems such as “Breaking the Law”, “Living After Midnight” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’”, songs that have become staples of live setlists all over the world.

As part of the European “Faithkeepers” tour, Judas Priest are rolling through a run of shows in the biggest cities of Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, France and Spain, and they’ll also hit some of Europe’s biggest festivals. The tour kicks off in late July in Germany and runs across Europe through August, and within that run their stop in Croatia gives fans a rare chance to feel the energy and spectacle of one of the greatest metal bands of all time in the unique setting of an ancient amphitheater.
