MACH 1 Announce Debut Album “Supersonic”
MACH 1, a new Slovenian progressive and art rock-metal outfit, is announcing the release of its debut studio album “Supersonic” on March 3, 2026.
MACH 1 is a five-piece rock-metal band that took its final shape during the pandemic and is now ready for a supersonic flight. The group fuses hard-hitting, heavy riffs with progressive elements and melodic breadth, and its sound is technically polished, charged with energy and built for the stage.
Their shows are all about direct contact with the crowd, raw energy and uncompromising delivery. MACH 1 brings fresh material, a serious approach and maximum commitment – on club stages and festival stages alike.
Get ready to break the sound barrier.
Supersonic isn’t just an album title – it’s a metaphor for the speed of time, for inner battles and for a world that’s racing faster than we can keep up with.
The album opens with an epic story about Gagarin – a symbol of courage, of breaking into the unknown and of the human ambition to push past limits. From there, the record gradually descends from space into the human interior. Tracks like Walls of Anxiety, Dreams and Lack of Belief explore anxiety, doubt, the collapse of trust and the search for meaning in a world where truth is becoming relative.
On the flip side, the album doesn’t lose its edge – Sonic Shot and Higher are a direct commentary on modern society, manipulation, false idols and the silent war of information. The energy is explosive, the riffs are heavy and straight to the point, and the message is clear: you have to overcome fear and go higher.
More intimate moments, like Lonely Road and Dangerous Games, reveal personal stories of loss, love, starting over and facing your own decisions. Mr. Nice Guy shows the darker side of the human psyche, while Don’t Rush brings a live-show, almost anthemic looseness – a reminder that despite the chaos, you have to live here and now.
Musically, the album combines:
- heavy, hard-hitting rock-metal riffs
- progressive transitions
- melodic choruses
- dynamic solo sections
- energy built for the stage
Supersonic is a journey – from historic courage to personal breakdowns, from social critique to inner catharsis. It’s the speed of sound and the speed of thought. It’s a breakthrough through walls – outer and inner.
On March 3, 2026, MACH 1 officially breaks the sound barrier.
