Meshuggah have announced the dates for their massive European “The Forty-Year Anomaly” tour, which will take place next year to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary.
Meshuggah formed in 1987 in the Swedish town of Umeå. Over the course of nine studio albums and six EPs, their thunderous yet technically demanding brand of extreme metal has inspired countless musicians, which is why they’re considered the fathers of ‘djent’. Their latest album, “Immutable”, came out in 2022.
The European tour kicks off on September 29, 2027 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and wraps up on October 30 at London’s OVO Arena Wembley. Periphery and Vildhjarta will be the support acts at every show.
