Monstrosity, the undisputed legends of Florida death metal, will release their new studio album “Screams From Beneath The Surface” on March 13, 2026 via the US label Metal Blade Records.
Below you can check out the second single from the album (and a visualizer) for the track The Atrophied. Before that, the band announced the new record with the single The Colossal Rage, which comes with a video directed by Thomas Crane (Kill Devil Films).

Led by drummer, founder and main songwriter Lee Harrison, and rounded out by longtime guitarist Matt Barnes, returning bassist Mark Van Erp and vocalist Ed Webb (formerly of Massacre), Monstrosity don’t just reinforce their trademark untamed death metal stance with the new album “Screams From Beneath The Surface” — they keep pushing the boundaries of the genre and carving out a path that’s innovative yet true to their roots.
The band’s new album was recorded at several different locations. Drums and bass were tracked at Audiohammer studio by producer Jason Suecof (The Black Dahlia Murder, Deicide, Job For A Cowboy), who also mixed the album. Vocals and guitars were recorded at the legendary Morrisound studio, where Monstrosity teamed up once again with the renowned producer Jim Morris (Iced Earth, Warrant, Savatage), with Mark Prator and BJ Ramone also contributing. Mastering was done at the same studio.
