MP, German heavy metal veterans, will release a new studio album titled “Reborn” via Massacre Records on September 26, 2026. It will be the band’s first studio album in more than 30 years.
Hailing from southwestern Germany, MP built up their reputation in the ’80s with extensive touring and high-profile shows alongside the likes of Samson and Girlschool, plus appearances on TV shows such as Hard ’n’ Heavy. Their debut »Bursting Out« (1986) has cult status today when it comes to the heavy metal tradition.
Now, after more than three decades, the band is back with fresh studio material, landing this fall.
Rooted in old-school metal, the upcoming album delivers ten uncompromising tracks packed with raw energy, with no frills and no glitter, just a head-on attack.
The band says:
»We’re really proud to be working with Massacre Records and to finally be bringing new music to the scene after all these years. This album represents everything MP stands for. Honesty, power – uncompromising metal, in other words!”
Current lineup:
Thomas Zeller – vocals
Jürgen Föry – guitar
Klaus Sperling – drums
Rainer Jauch – bass
