Niva, the Swedish AOR/melodic rock outfit led by Tony Niva, will release a new studio album called “Stratospheric” on November 13, 2026, via Pride & Joy Music.
Formed in the Swedish town of Skövde, Niva make classic, 80s-inspired Scandinavian hard rock, marked by soaring vocal harmonies, anthemic choruses, and a polished, melody-driven production.
Tony Niva made a name for himself on the Scandinavian hard rock scene in the 80s and 90s after playing in bands like Axia and Swedish Erotica, among others. In 1994 he founded the Niva project, which put out the warmly received debut album “No Capitulation”.
After a break, Niva revived the project in 2010 and released new music, which you’ll find on the key albums of that period: “Gold From The Future” (2011), “Magnitude” (2013), and “Atmospherical” (2016).
Below you can check out the brand-new single Rock The World, complete with an official music video. It follows the singles Rise Up Again, released in 2021, and Time To Say Goodbye, which came out way back in 2018. Both will also appear on the upcoming studio album!
