Osukaru, Swedish glam metal revivalists, are unveiling a new video and single for the song Wendigo, taken from their latest studio album “Tall Tales,” released this year. The album came out via Pride & Joy Music.

“Tall Tales” is the band’s seventh studio album, and you can still order it.

Osukaru were formed in early 2010 in Gothenburg, Sweden, when guitarist Oz Hawe Petersson (then known as Oz Osukaru) set about turning some ideas into reality. It took a few years for the first EP to appear, and some artistic growing up too, before the debut album »Salvation« landed in 2012. By then, Osukaru was no longer just a project. It was turning into something more.

With the 2015 album »Transition,« things clicked into place and Osukaru found their real identity.

By the time »House of Mirrors« came out in 2018, Osukaru had stepped fully into their own world: one that was hugely musical, yet heavy and loaded with bubbling passion and energy. That momentum carried over to the 2021 album »Starbound,« which took the band to new heights, racked up several million streams on Spotify alone, and built a proper runway for “Tall Tales.”

“Tall Tales” was produced by Oz Hawe Petersson together with longtime vocalist and bandmate Fredrik Werner (Daytona, Air Raid), mixed by Svein Jensen (Alicate, Sister Sin), and mastered by Mats Eriksson (Degreed).

The graphic design for the cover and booklet came from Oz Hawe Petersson, with a helping hand from actress and model Eliza Sica.

Osukaru are:
Fredrik Werner – vocals, guitar
Oz Hawe Petersson – guitar, backing vocals
Marcus Zerath – bass, backing vocals
C.D – drums, percussion
