Peter Gabriel Drops “Looking For The Happy” (Bright-Side Mix)
Peter Gabriel, the celebrated singer-songwriter and British prog rock icon, has released a ‘bright-side’ mix of his new single Looking For The Happy (mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent). The new single will appear on Gabriel’s new album “o\i”.
Judging by how the singles are coming out, with every single getting a ‘bright side’ mix and then a ‘dark side’ mix, we can expect Gabriel to release the new album in two differently mixed versions!
So Gabriel will most likely put out this single in a ‘dark-side’ mix too, in two weeks’ time.
Before this new single, Gabriel unveiled the singles Won’t Stand Down, What Lies Ahead, Been Undone, Put The Bucket Down, What Lies Ahead and Till Your Mind Is Shining.
The album will slowly take shape over the course of this year, just like Gabriel did with its predecessor “i/o” back in 2023. Each single drops on the full moon. Once again, both “dark-side” and “bright-side” mixes will be available, with Tchad Blake and Mark ‘Spike’ Stent handling them again.
All the songs on the album were written and produced by Peter Gabriel, and recorded at Real World studios in Bath and The Beehive in London.
