Peter Gabriel, the celebrated singer-songwriter and British prog rock icon, has dropped the ‘bright-side’ mix of his fourth new single, Till Your Mind Is Shining (mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Sten). The new single will land on Gabriel’s upcoming album “o\i”.
Judging by how the singles are coming out, with each one getting a ‘bright side’ mix and then a ‘dark side’ mix, we can expect Gabriel to release the new album in two differently mixed versions!
Gabriel released this single two weeks ago in the ‘dark-side’ mix.
Before Till Your Mind Is Shining, Gabriel had already unveiled the singles What Lies Ahead, Been Undone, Put The Bucket Down and What Lies Ahead in both mix versions.
The album will slowly take shape over the course of this year, just like Gabriel did with its predecessor “i/o” back in 2023. Every single comes out on the full moon. This time around, too, there will be a “dark-side” and a “bright-side” mix, with Tchad Blake and Mark ‘Spike’ Stent on mixing duty once again.
Both previous singles have already come out in both mixes, but we’ll have to wait a little longer for the ‘dark side’ mix of the latest one.
All three singles were written and produced by Peter Gabriel and recorded at the Real World studios in Bath and The Beehive in London.
