Peter Gabriel, acclaimed singer-songwriter and British prog rock icon, has released a version of his new single One By One, already the sixth overall, in a ‘bright-side’ mix (mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent). The new single will appear on Gabriel’s new album “o\i”.

Judging by how the singles are coming out, with every single getting a ‘bright side’ mix and then a ‘dark side’ mix too, we can expect Gabriel to release the new album in two differently mixed versions!

Before the single Won’t Stand Down, Gabriel had already unveiled both mixes of the singles What Lies Ahead, Been Undone, Put The Bucket Down, What Lies Ahead and Till Your Mind Is Shining.

The album will slowly take shape over the course of this year, just like Gabriel did with its predecessor “i/o” in 2023. Each single drops on the full moon. This time around, too, there will be both a “dark-side” and a “bright-side” mix, once again handled by Tchad Blake and Mark ‘Spike’ Stent.

All six singles were written and produced by Peter Gabriel and recorded at Real World studios in Bath and The Beehive in London.
