Praying Mantis, the big veterans of British melodic hard and heavy rock who emerged back in the days of the N.W.O.B.H.M. movement, are in the middle of booking shows across the old continent for this year.
The band has confirmed a handful of dates for this November, including a show at the Hard Place club in Zagreb, where Praying Mantis will take the stage on 24. 11. 2026. The gig is being put together by Devotion Booking and Purgatory!
Judging by the official flyer for the new European tour, the spotlight at the upcoming shows looks set to fall on the band’s cult studio album from 1981, “Time Tells No Lies”. It’s the legendary record that brought the band into the N.W.O.B.H.M. fold and built them a monument for the ages. If so, we’ll be witnessing a celebration of the album’s 45th anniversary.
