Pretty Maids, Denmark’s cult hard rock sensation, are officially working on a new studio album, due out in 2027.

The upcoming record will be the band’s first new studio album since 2019, when “Undress Your Madness” came out. With the announcement, Pretty Maids are kicking off a new, exciting chapter in the career of one of Europe’s most tenacious and instantly recognizable hard rock bands.

Pretty Maids, always defined by the remarkable bond between two members, vocalist Ronnie Atkins and guitarist Ken Hammer, have spent more than four decades carving out their own sound, mixing crushing guitar riffs, infectious musicality, strong moods and refrains you recognize in a heartbeat.

Over a career stretching back to the early ’80s, the Danish band has built a discography full of genre milestones, including the albums “Future World”, “Jump The Gun”, “Pandemonium”, “Motherland” and “Kingmaker”, which established Pretty Maids globally as a mighty force in melodic hard rock and heavy metal.

After a five-year break, Pretty Maids returned to the stage in 2024. The chemistry and energy within the band were the main catalysts behind the decision to get back to writing and recording new music, too.

The new album will be released in 2027 via Frontiers Music Srl, and it will be produced by renowned Danish producer Jacob Hansen, who has worked with Amaranthe, Volbeat, Epica, Primal Fear and Evergrey.
