Seventh Wonder, the amazing Swedish progressive metal outfit, announce they’ve finished work on a new studio album, which will be released via the Italian label Frontiers Music Srl.
The first single from the upcoming album will be called Memories and will drop on October 14, 2026.
The band is also planning a run of new live shows for next year.
The release date and other details about the new album will be revealed soon.
Seventh Wonder are a hugely respected progressive metal band. They were founded in Stockholm in 2000 by Andreas Blomqvist. By 2022 they had racked up six studio albums, and at one point they were fronted by Tommy Karevik, who had to leave Seventh Wonder for good in the summer of 2023 because of his commitments to the far more successful and world-famous symphonic power metallers Kamelot. At the start of 2026, the excellent Swedish vocalist Mattias Olofsson joined Seventh Wonder, having recorded, among other things, two studio albums with the Swedish melodic rockers Grand.
Seventh Wonder currently line up like this:
Mattias Olofsson – vocals
Johan Liefvendahl – guitar
Andreas “Kyrt” Söderin – keyboards
Andreas Blomqvist – bass
Stefan Norgren – drums
