Siege Perilous, the American power metal crew from Denver in northern Colorado, will release a new studio album called “Becoming The Dragon” on March 27, 2026.
You can check out the single and video for the album’s title track below. The video was directed by Guillermo “Gii” Astorga.
You can already pre-save/pre-order “Becoming The Dragon”.
The new album is the third chapter of a concept saga the band started on its two previous records. In part three, our hero decides to fulfill the prophecy and becomes an ethereal (otherworldly) dragon. Not to serve the forces of fate, but to destroy them in the name of sheer willpower. Of course, he first had to shed all fear and every last doubt.
Siege Perilous have previously released the single As The Dragon Falls, featuring the famed Italian power metal nightingale Fabio Lione as a special guest.
Here’s the tracklist for “Becoming The Dragon”:
1. Overture (Instrumental)
2. Ancient Rite
3. As the Dragon Falls (feat. Fabio Lione)
4. Child of Prophecy
5. Shattered Mirage
6. Chieftain
