"The new live document reflects a new era for the band, which is standing on the threshold of a fresh creative chapter. They crowned it with their latest studio album - the first with vocalist Tom Englund (Evergrey) - and this superb live…

"Vanishing Point's new album "Dead Elysium" picks up the story right where its predecessor "Distant Is The Sun" (2014) left off. Fans had to wait a long time for it again, but the wait paid off."

"“The band is totally 'stripped down', honest and straight-up. Frontal. The hooks are simple, the rhythms catchy and charging. A mostly 'adrenaline' album that invites you to a hellish party, soaked in burning high-octane fuel and loaded…

"Generally speaking, this project isn't just bold, it's above all a success. It fuses two musical worlds into an excellent, unusual body of work, a metal opera that keeps you entertained even in the theater. U.D.O. stepped away from their…

"»Firewind« will be hard for any other power metal album to top this year. Firewind have dropped the best power metal album of 2020 so far, and chances are it'll stay that way!"

"»Fistful Of Fire« is easily one of the best hard rock albums to drop in the first half of this year. Alongside the new Gotthard record »#13«, it's a must for all the »surviving« fans of the genre. It doesn't get more German than this."

"The old fart isn't giving up, and in what he takes on with the incredibly inspired “Born Of Fire”, he's hellishly good again and practically untouchable (especially when it comes to his generational uniqueness)."

"With »II«, CoreLeoni deliver exactly what everyone expected: a second helping of fun, freshly reworked Gotthard classics!"

"The album is once again good, solid and quality. But with no standout moments whatsoever. So, nothing special. Despite the detours Mat Sinner took with a female vocalist, extra guests and a more varied genre styling on some of the tracks."

"The quintet crowned its excellence, and we can safely call it performance-wise perfection, with this show too, and 'Live In Japan 2018' captures it down to the last detail."

"After two excellent albums, “Hymns for the Broken” (2014) and “The Storm Within” (2016), both truly top-notch, the question was whether Evergrey could hold on to that incredible creative streak and carry it over to a new record. The…

" "Kill Or Get Killed" is a true-blue, hardened shrapnel shell that hands fans of Iron Savior, as well as fans of the whole Euro power metal genre, immodestly put, a true heavenly manna of fresh, boundless delights from the classic metal…

"Everything on "Reforged - Riding On Fire" is exactly where it should be, and at times even better than on the originals. Piet Sielck knows, can, understands and, of course, delivers."

"If you haven't caught Dirkschneider on stage yet, this fall is your last chance. Given the huge success that took Udo and the crew completely by surprise, Dirkschneider have extended their stay with one more tour. This one will deliver…

"Paradox don't surprise anymore with 'Pangea', but it's an immense pleasure to see Steinhauer sticking to the proven artistry of his own metal-craft specifics in his musical vision, exploring, nurturing and deepening them, all while deftly…

"»Titancraft« is a somewhat friendlier album on the ears than its predecessors. Even "cheerful" (Freedom Call even come to mind), bright and bubbling with positivity. It sticks to the tried-and-tested formula."

" 'Live at the Final Frontier' is an excellent live document that fans of this sadly often overlooked but terrific German power metal band will be thrilled with and then some."

""The Landing" is an incredibly mature new studio album from Iron Savior. I'd go so far as to say it's one of the best things this band has ever put out in its career."

"With "Riot Squad," Paradox don't just prove that their defiance more than paid off. They also prove that you can still squeeze out a thrash metal album today that comes close to perfection in musical expression"
