Steeleye Span

With “Please to See the King”, Steeleye Span made their first folk-rock classic and one of the most eventful albums of their long career, proving they didn't need a drummer to do it.

On their solid debut, Steeleye Span were still learning the ropes of British folk rock and slowly shaping their own recognizable sound.

»Wintersmith« is proof positive that Steeleye Span are one of the very few legendary bands around today that age like fine wine: the older they get, the better they are.
