Testament, the Bay Area thrash metal icons, have announced a reissue of their 1989 studio album “Practice What You Preach”. The remastered version of the album lands on May 8, with Nuclear Blast Records handling the reissue.
“Practice What You Preach (2026 Remaster)” was remastered by Justin Shturtz at Sterling Sound. It’ll be out digitally and on 180-gram vinyl in yellow and orange with black splatter (limited to 1,250 copies worldwide), and it comes with new artwork by Bill Benson (who also designed the original cover) and a 20-page booklet packed with old photos and archival documents contributed by the band’s Chuck Billy and Eric Peterson. The remaster’s booklet also features a brand-new liner-notes essay.
Chuck Billy had this to say about the reissue: “I’m stoked about the remastered edition of “Practice What You Preach”, coming out on Nuclear Blast. It’s got new artwork and an even punchier sound than the original.”
You can already pre-order the remastered version of the album.
