The Eternal, the Australian-Finnish dark progressive gothic metal collective, put out their new EP “Celestial” on January 16 (via Reigning Phoenix Music), and now they’re unveiling a video and single for the track Bleeding Into Light. Before it, the band had already released two singles from the EP: Celestial Veil and It All Ends (all of them available below).

You can get the EP on all the major digital platforms and in an extremely limited edition on eco-friendly recycled vinyl: https://theeternal.rpm.link/celestialPR

It All Ends was the first taste of “Celestial”. The track unfolds slowly and deliberately, then drags the listener into a storm of gloomy riffs, dark melodies and emotional vocals that feel intimate and colossal at the same time. The dynamics build up to a grand, epic finale that shows off the band’s cinematic approach to heavy music.

With Mark Kelson (vocals/guitar) and Richie Poate (guitar) in Melbourne, joined by Jan Rechberger (drums, Amorphis) and Niclas Etelävuori (bass, ex-Amorphis/Flat Earth) in Helsinki, The Eternal are opening up new musical horizons.

Tracklist for the EP “Celestial”:
1. Absence Of Light
2. Celestial Veil
3. It All Ends
4. Bleeding Into Light
5. Casting Down Shadows
6. Everlasting MMXXVI

The Eternal are:
Mark Kelson – guitar, vocals
Richie Poate – guitar
Niclas Etelävuori – bass guitar
Jan Rechberger – drums, percussion
