The Rolling Stones have announced their new studio album “Foreign Tongues.” The band’s 25th studio album will drop on July 10 via Polydor/Universal Music.
A few days ago they premiered the official lyric video for the single Rough & Twisted, and now the legendary gentlemen of rock ‘n’ roll have dropped the official music video for the single In The Stars. That single will also be released in a physical format on May 15, 2026. Both videos are available below.
The band actually unveiled both singles on May 6, 2026, when they announced the new album!
The 14-track collection arrives less than three years after its predecessor “Hackney Diamonds,” which topped charts all over the world, went multi-platinum, and also brought The Rolling Stones a Grammy.
“Foreign Tongues” was recorded in under a month at Metropolis studio in West London, where Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood teamed up once again with Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt, who also produced “Hackney Diamonds.”
Alongside Jagger, Richards, and Wood, the holy trinity is joined once more by Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford, and Steve Jordan. The album will also feature one of the last recordings with the late Charlie Watts, captured during one of his final sessions before his death in 2021. Other guests on the album include Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith (The Cure), and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
