Tony Mitchell, former frontman of the melodic rock outfit Kiss Of The Gypsy, released a new studio album called “Immortalis” on 14 August 2026 via AOR Blvd. Records.

Below you can check out the title track and album single, Immortalis. Before it, Mitchell shared two more singles from the record: Heart Made Me Do It and Beautiful Mistake, which also comes with a music video.

“Immortalis” follows its predecessor “Hot Endless Summer Nights”, which came out at the end of November 2021.

Tony Mitchell is best known for his work with Kiss of the Gypsy, who were signed to Atlantic Records USA/Warner Chappell. The songs “Whatever It Takes” and “Take This Old Heart” are still considered melodic rock classics today. You’ll find them on the debut studio album “Kiss of the Gypsy”, released in 1991. The band later fell apart as labels went hunting for new trends and opened the doors to the grunge scene. They had a second album fully written, but never got to release it.

Mitchell later lent his vocals to Rick Wakeman’s album “Return To The Centre Of The Earth” (which also features Bonnie Tyler and Ozzy Osbourne, among others), and sang and played guitar on stage with Alice Cooper, Alan Parsons Project, Jon Anderson (Yes), Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) and It Bites on a special South American tour called “British Rock Symphony” in 2000. He was also a member of Dirty White Boyz, who put out the album “Down & Dirty” in 2016. In 2018 he released his solo studio album “Beggars Gold” and earned rave reviews from music critics. The standout tracks on it are “Playing With Fire” and “What You Make It” (feat. Sue Willetts of Dante Fox).
