Tony Mitchell, the former frontman of melodic rock outfit Kiss Of The Gypsy, released a new studio album called “Immortalis” on August 14, 2026, via AOR Blvd. Records.

Check out the album single Heart Made Me Do It below, which Mitchell used to send the new record off into the world. Before that, Tony put out the single Beautiful Mistake, which also comes with a music video.

“Immortalis” follows up its predecessor “Hot Endless Summer Nights”, which came out at the end of November 2021.

Tony Mitchell is best known for his work with Kiss of the Gypsy, who operated under the wing of Atlantic Records USA/Warner Chappell. The songs “Whatever It Takes” and “Take This Old Heart” are still considered melodic rock classics today. You’ll find them on the debut studio album “Kiss of the Gypsy”, released in 1991. The band later fell apart as labels chased new trends and opened the doors to the grunge scene. They’d already written a whole second album, but never got to release it.

Mitchell later lent his vocals to Rick Wakeman’s album “Return To The Centre Of The Earth” (which also features Bonnie Tyler and Ozzy Osbourne, among others), and sang and played guitar on stage alongside Alice Cooper, Alan Parsons Project, Jon Anderson (Yes), Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) and It Bites on a special South American tour called “British Rock Symphony” in 2000. He was also a member of Dirty White Boyz, who released the album “Down & Dirty” in 2016. In 2018, he put out his solo studio album “Beggars Gold” and collected glowing reviews from music critics. The standout tracks on the record are “Playing With Fire” and “What You Make It” (feat. Sue Willetts of Dante Fox).

You can already order “Immortalis”.
