Triosphere, the Norwegian metal outfit formed in Trondheim in 2004, have dropped a fresh original single and video for the track Of Tyrants, which will appear on the band’s new album, their fourth overall, titled “Oceans Above, Stars Below”.
The new album lands on 8/28/2026 via Frontiers Music Srl. It’ll be available in all formats, and you can already pre-order it.
Ahead of this latest single, the band put out the single Monster’s Ball, which you can also check out below!
After the demo “Deadly Decadance” in 2005, the studio debut “Onwards” followed the next year. It was received brilliantly and opened the door for the band to share stages with bigger names. They’ve played alongside W.A.S.P., Kamelot, Jorn, Arch Enemy, Destruction and Kotipelto. The second album, “The Road Less Travelled”, came out in 2010 via AFM Records, and the band hit the road on a European tour with Sonata Arctica and Crimson Glory. In 2014 the third studio album, “The Heart Of The Matter” (AFM Records), arrived. As early as 2016, the band announced they were working on a new record. That same year they also played for the first time on the other side of the Atlantic, when they took part in the ProgPower festival in Atlanta.
