“Eremition” is the eagerly awaited seventh album from one of Australia’s most iconic bands when it comes to melodic progressive metal. The album keeps everything Vanishing Point fans demand, while uncompromisingly pushing the band’s sound into new, as-yet-unexplored sonic territory.
“Eremition” is a collection of nine tracks that deliver, in top form and for a new era, everything Vanishing Point are about musically. Songs like Bring Me The Night and The Other Side serve up mighty cinematic melodies, while tracks such as The Faceless and Faultline come with relentless metal riffing. The melancholic King Of Denial is sure to satisfy those looking for darker moments, and the album’s title track, “Eremition”, brings something Vanishing Point have never created before.
The album cover was created by Augusto Peixoto (IrondoomDesign).
The album was produced by Chris Porcianko and Damien Hall. Guitars, bass and drums were engineered by Damien Hall. Vocal production, co-production, mixing and mastering were handled by Dean Wells (Teramaze).
