The Claypool Lennon Delirium Drop Single and Video for “The Golden Egg of Empathy (ft. Willow)”

The Claypool Lennon Delirium, the creative team-up of Les Claypool (Primus) and Sean Lennon, are gearing up for their third album, “The Great Parrot-Ox And The Golden Egg of Empathy”, landing May 1 on ATO Records.

The duo just released a video for the second single, The Golden Egg of Empathy (ft. Willow), which you can check out below. Earlier, the two musicians also put out the single WAP (What a Predicament).

It’s a concept album, with 14 tracks.

“Album “The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy” is a warning about what awaits humanity if we keep putting machines ahead of people,” Lennon explains, adding: “It’s a story about a technocracy overshadowed by paper clips. It’s the story of a young man who has to untangle the web of insane deeds left behind by his father, and of a holy feathered goddess holding an egg-shaped key that leads to their future.”

The new album will be available as a 2-LP set in a gatefold sleeve, packaged with a 24-page comic that illustrates every track as the album’s story unfolds.
