Italian label Frontiers Music Srl. from Naples celebrated its 30th anniversary a few days ago. To mark the occasion, the top guys at the label decided to throw a party of their own, among other things by asking Scottish vocal legend Robin McAuley (McAuley Schenker Group, Survivor, Black Swan, solo,…) to join in on a reworked version of a Pretty Maids track taken from “Pandemonium,” the album by the Danish melodic metal and hard rock legends (released on May 14, 2010), called Little Drops Of Heaven.
Easily one of the most under-the-skin seductive Pretty Maids tracks from that album, the new version with McAuley on vocals is available below.
Judge for yourself which is better: the cover or the original. The author of this piece definitely leans toward the original.
