The Black Keys have revealed the details of their 14th studio album, “Peaches!” The news of the new record comes six months after last year’s release of “No Rain, No Flowers”. The album drops on May 1, 2026 via Easy Eye Sound!
Below you can check out the second single and video from the upcoming album, for the track Where “There’s Smoke, There’s Fire.
The duo previously dropped the album’s first single, a cover of You Got To Lose by Earl Hooker. The tune was also covered by George Thorogood and the Destroyers on their 1977 debut album.
The album started taking shape after vocalist Dan Auerbach got the terrifying news that his (late) father had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. That’s when drummer Patrick Carney suggested the singer spend some time in the studio and catch his breath.
The whole album is therefore very raw and sounds gloriously dirty. It comes out of studio jams, was recorded live-off-the-floor style, and Carney adds that mixing the album was an absolute nightmare.
You can already pre-order “Peaches!”.
