Shane Embury (Napalm Death) announces studio album “Bridge To Resolution”
Shane Embury, bassist of British grindcore legends Napalm Death, will release his studio album “Bridge To Resolution” on Dissonance Productions on June 26, 2026.
Besides his work with Napalm Death, Embury is best known for playing with bands like Meathook Seed, Lock Up, Brujeria and Venomous Concept, among others.
Below you’ll find the first single from the album, plus the video for the track Spasm Prayer.
You can already pre-order your copy of Shane’s album.
For the album, Shane Embury picked Carl Stokes (Cancer, Groundhogs, Current 93) on drums and handed production over to Simon Efemey, who has previously worked with Amorphis, Crowbar and Paradise Lost, among others. Embury played all the guitars and basses on the record himself. He also contributed synths and vocals.
Alongside the metal chops you’d expect from a musician like him, the album will also feature the musical influences that have always drawn Embury in, like atmospheric gothic rock and post-punk, with bands such as Cocteau Twins, Killing Joke and The Mission standing behind them, among others.
The tracklist for “Bridge To Resolution” looks like this:
1. Spasm Prayer
2. The Dreaming Abyss
3. Bridge To Resolution
4. Thorns In Despair
5. How To Corrode Memories
6. Illusion Guillotine
7. Taurus
8. The Gift Of Shame Wrapped In Guilt
