Vinkuran/Medulin Riviera, Croatia

Fair Fest 2026 is bringing you one of the most spectacular concert-and-visual events in the region this summer — the legendary Slovenian band Laibach is heading to the monumental setting of Cave Romane with a brand-new project, »Musick«, released on May 1 this year by the eminent British label Mute Records. . On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the ancient Roman quarry Cave Romane near Pula (Medulin, Vinkuran) in Croatia will be transformed into a monumental stage of sound, light, and image. In a place where the stone has carried the marks of human labor, architecture, and time for at least two millennia, Laibach will take the stage — a collective that has been probing the boundaries of music, art, ideology, and spectacle for more than four decades.

»Musick« is a completely new, one-of-a-kind art project that carries on Laibach’s trademark fusion of music, visual art, philosophy, and powerful stage aesthetics. The monumental space of Cave Romane, where ancient history meets the atmosphere of the modern age, will make the perfect backdrop for an unrepeatable concert and visual experience.

Laibach will give their new project its Croatian premiere with projections, a light design, and an atmosphere that will fuse the ancient setting of the quarry with Laibach’s signature aesthetic of monumentality, irony, ritual, and pop-culture subversion. It will be a night where history, industrial sharpness, modern technology, and a summer night in Istria melt into one-of-a-kind concert experience.

Laibach will be joined live on stage by Manca Trampuš and Gregor Strassberger, who will also introduce themselves to the crowd with their own bands ahead of Laibach. Koala Voice and MRFY are two distinctive Slovenian acts from the younger generation, each widening the night’s range with their own energy, melodies, and stage presence — from indie directness to alternative-rock charge. Together they’ll build a layered musical dramaturgy that gradually leads the crowd toward the main event: Laibach performing at one of the most evocative venues on the Adriatic.

With its mighty stone acoustics and open summer sky, Cave Romane is the ideal space for the intense sound and expression of Laibach, a band that has been pushing the boundaries of music and contemporary art for decades.
