Norwegian rockers Audrey Horne are announcing their new studio album “Achilles”, due out September 4 via Napalm Records. The first single from the record is out now: Insanity, a high-energy rock’n’roll march that comes with a music video.
Audrey Horne’s previous two studio albums, “Blackout” (2018) and “Devil’s Bell” (2022), were both met with great international acclaim, and the band even picked up a Spellemannprisen (the Norwegian equivalent of a Grammy) for their 2005 debut. Having opened for AC/DC and Mötley Crüe, as well as Papa Roach and Backyard Babies, Audrey Horne are considered one of Norway’s most interesting rock exports.
The new album packs in 11 dynamic tracks, recorded by Audrey Horne in this lineup: vocalist Toschie, guitarists Ice Dale (Enslaved) and Thomas Tofthagen, bassist Espen Lien and drummer Kjetil Greve.
