Slovenian Band SMACKED Heads to Japan for a Tour in September 2026!
Slovenian punk rock outfit SMACKED, who have been presenting their latest album on stages at home and abroad, are heading off on tour to Japan this September!
In February this year, SMACKED put out their 3rd studio album under the wing of the Canadian label Cooler than you Records / People of Punk Rock Records, titled RISE AND GRIND. The album, out both digitally and on physical formats, kicked off its live run in March at the sold-out club Gromka.
The highlight of 2026 for the guys, though, will be the tour of Japan, where they’ll play 5 shows in Tokyo and the surrounding area in September.
The invitation to Japan came from the Japanese agency RNR TOURS, who also work with bands like Comeback Kid, A Wilhelm Scream, Belvedere, Chaser…
Even though they play abroad a lot, this will be their first tour outside Europe, so the guys in SMACKED count this kind of opportunity as a huge honor and can’t wait to bring their music to a country on the other side of the planet!
Before that, though, a very busy summer awaits them. In July they’ll share the stage with the legendary Canadian punk rockers Belvedere in neighboring Austria (Vienna and Graz).
In festival-flavored August, the guys will play in Germany at the Wild Rock festival, where Sweden’s Not Fun at All are also on the bill, among others.
And in Slovenia, you can still catch them before the Japan tour on August 12, when they’ll once again hit the stage of the Punk Rock Holiday festival in Tolmin; or on the first weekend of September, when they’ll play in Slovenj Gradec at the festival of urban sports and great music, Flow ramps fest!
