Axel Rudi Pell, Germany’s one and only keeper of the classic hard rock flame, will release his new studio album “Ghost Town” on March 20, 2026. Once again, it’s coming out via the German label Steamhammer/SPV Records.
Below you can check out the lyric video for the second single off the upcoming album, the track Sanity. Before that, Pell dropped the title track.
Once again, Axel is joined on the new album by a crew of seasoned musical comrades: Johnny Gioeli (vocals, Hardline), Bobby Rondinelli (drums, ex-Rainbow, ex-Blue Oyster Cult), Volker Krawczak (bass), and Ferdy Doernberg (keyboards).
You can already pre-order the album “Ghost Town”.
Even though with Axel you always get exactly what you expect, the new album, with its eleven brand-new originals, has one track that stands out: Breaking Seals, sung as a duet with the one and only Udo Dirkschneider.
Axel Rudi Pell produced Ghost Town himself, while Tommy Geiger (Blind Guardian, Helloween), who’s responsible for the album’s mix, lent valuable technical support during the recording sessions at the Blind Guardian studio in Grefrath.
