A live album called “Back To The Beginning” is on the horizon! It’s a joint live document from Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, coming out on December 11, 2026 via Mercury Studios. The whole thing will be released as both a film and a live album.
On July 5, 2025, 44,000 people packed into Villa Park in Birmingham to witness a historic moment in the history of heavy metal. It was Ozzy Osbourne’s final show, his farewell to his fans.
“Back To The Beginning” captures the final performance of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, and alongside behind-the-scenes glimpses, the release will also gather guest contributions and reflections from other artists inspired by Black Sabbath’s and Ozzy’s music, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Tool, Halestorm and Anthrax.
Below you can check out a live snippet from the event that will be part of the upcoming release: Ozzy’s performance of his classic Mr. Crowley. And of course, there’s a video to go with it!
