Different Light, the Czech progressive rock outfit from Prague, will release their new studio album, “Binary Suns (Part 2 – Alternate Reality)”, on April 24, 2026. The album will come out on the Dutch label Shaded Moon Entertainment.
A few days ago the band uploaded the official music video for the single A Fool’s Errand to YouTube, a track they first unveiled a good two years back. Check it out below.
The album will be available on all the major streaming platforms and on Bandcamp, and it’ll be out on CD too!
The band lets everyone interested know that if you only want to pre-order the new album, head over to www.shadedmoon.nl, but if you want to pre-order the new record along with all their previous albums, click through to the band’s official website: www.differentlight.cz.
The digital download will be available on www.bandcamp.com from April 24, 2026.
The new album follows its predecessor, “Binary Suns Part 1 – Operant Condition”, which came out in 2020. Different Light are pretty much legends. They were formed in late 1994 in Malta, and since then they’ve put out four studio albums, one EP and one compilation. In 2008, Trevor Tabone moved to Prague, and Different Light have been a Czech band ever since.
Lineup:
Jirka Matoušek – bass guitar
Petr Lux – guitar, backing vocals
Trevor Tabone – vocals, keyboards
David Filák – drums
