Dimmu Borgir, the Norwegian titans of symphonic black metal, are back with a new album: “Grand Serpent Rising”. Due out May 22 via Nuclear Blast Records, the record delivers thirteen relentless yet strikingly varied tracks that once again cement the band’s status as one of the mightiest forces in extreme metal.
“Grand Serpent Rising” was recorded in Gothenburg with veteran producer Fredrik Nordström, who already worked with the band on the groundbreaking albums »Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia« and »Death Cult Armageddon«.
