Elder Unveil Title-Track Single from “Through Zero”
Elder have announced their new studio album “Through Zero”, which lands on May 29, 2026 via Stickman Records in Europe and Blues Funeral Recordings in the United States.
The first single, the title track of the new album, is already out. Check it out below.
“Through Zero” will be available in all formats, and you can already pre-order it.
Recorded at Big Snuff Studios in Berlin over a few months between tours in 2025, “Through Zero” is the first album the band has produced entirely on their own. The mix was handled together with Richard Behrens. Mastered by Carl Saff, the result feels more than ever like the band’s creative vision fully realized.
Elder formed in 2006 in a small coastal town in Massachusetts, started by three longtime friends who were hooked on downtuned heavy music. Over the years the band picked up a guitarist, lost a drummer, relocated (mostly) from the US to Germany, played hundreds of shows around the world, from tiny clubs all the way up to arenas, and put out six full-length albums, four EPs and two live albums.
You can catch Elder live at this year’s edition of Tolminator festival in Tolmin, where they’ll play on July 25, 2026.
Here’s the tracklist for “Through Zero”:

4. Strata

6. Blighted Age
