German genre-benders Electric Callboy have dropped their new single “Let the Good Times Roll”, with Dexter Holland, frontman of punk-rock legends The Offspring, joining in. The track is the latest taste of their upcoming album TANZNEID, out August 7.

The new track packs in everything that made Electric Callboy a global phenomenon: infectious pop melodies, massive metalcore riffs, electronic dance beats and their trademark sense of humor. Dexter Holland’s guest spot adds extra weight, since his unmistakable vocals powered hits like “Come Out and Play” and “Self Esteem”.

The collab is a big moment for the Electric Callboy crew, who have said time and again that The Offspring were one of the bands that shaped their musical development in a big way.

“The Offspring are one of the bands that have been with us from the very start. Their music was part of our lives before Electric Callboy even existed, so working with Dexter is something totally surreal,” the band said in a statement.

Holland didn’t hide his excitement either: “When Electric Callboy sent us the track, we were grinning right away. It’s energetic, unpredictable and doesn’t take itself too seriously – exactly the kind of spirit we’ve always valued in punk and rock. I was happy to be part of this song.”

The single’s release coincides with the start of this year’s European festival season, which will see Electric Callboy playing Germany’s biggest festivals, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.

Formed in Germany in 2010, the band has become one of the most recognizable forces in modern heavy music in recent years. With hits like “Hypa Hypa”, “We Got the Moves” and “RATATATA” with BABYMETAL, they’ve won over millions of listeners worldwide. Their 2022 album TEKKNO racked up several hundred million streams on streaming platforms.

TANZNEID is already up for pre-order, and you can check out “Let the Good Times Roll” in its accompanying music video too.
