Gentle Giant, the British prog rock icons, are reissuing their fifth album, 1973’s “In A Glass House,” this July. The reissue will be available on vinyl and CD.
So Gentle Giant are reissuing their fifth studio album from 1973, “In A Glass House,” in a refreshed sound version, meaning a brand-new remix and remaster. The reissue lands on July 31 via Madfish Records.
The band has also dropped a brand-new video for the track Way Of Life (below).
The new version was remixed and remastered by Grammy-winning producer Eber Pinheiro and by Derek Shulman, one of the key figures behind Gentle Giant.
“When we were recording ‘In a Glass House,’ we were pushing ourselves in every direction, musically and creatively,” says Shulman. “When I listened back to the tapes and got to remix them with today’s technology, details and textures came out that had always been there, but we never got to hear them fully. We wanted to present ‘In A Glass House’ the way we always wanted it to sound – clearer, more dynamic and true to the original vision. The details really shine through in this new mix,” Shulman adds.
The reissue of “In A Glass House” is already available for pre-order!
