Evergrey, the Swedish dark progressive metallers from Gothenburg, released their 15th studio album “Architects Of A New Weave” on June 5, 2026 via Austria’s Napalm Records.
To mark the release of the new record, the band dropped a single and video for A Burning Flame. It follows the earlier singles Leaving The Emptiness, Architects of a New Weave and The World Is On Fire.
“Architects Of A New Weave” will be available in all formats (and several variants), and you can already order it now!
The new album has all the trademarks of the band’s signature sonic and compositional artistry. On A Burning Flame, Tom S. Englund is joined for a vocal duet by a special guest: Gothenburg melodic death metal icon Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect, Grand Cadaver, Cemetery Skyline).
“Architects Of A New Weave” was produced by Tom S. Englund and Vikram Shankar, with the mix handled by Adam “Nolly” Getgood.
Among the exclusive formats of “Architects Of A New Weave”, the standout is the CD version with a bonus album. It features two extra tracks, Heights and One Heart, plus the album mix of the previously released standalone single Oxygen (2025), which is otherwise not part of the new album. The bonus disc also adds a demo version of Longing and an instrumental version of Leaving The Emptines – both of them new songs – along with a live version of Falling From The Sun, a fan favorite from the previous album “Theories of Emptiness” (2024) and a continuation of Ominous from “A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament)”, released in 2022.
