Evergrey, the Swedish dark progressive metal outfit from Gothenburg, are announcing their 15th studio album “Architects Of A New Weave”, due out June 5, 2026 via Austrian label Napalm Records.
Below you’ll find the album’s third single and the video for Leaving The Emptiness. Before that, the band dropped the new album’s title single “Architects of a New Weave” and the single The World Is On Fire.

The new record brings all the trademarks of the band’s signature sonic and compositional artistry. On A Burning Flame, Tom S. Englund is joined in a vocal duet by a very special guest: Gothenburg melodic death metal icon Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect, Grand Cadaver, Cemetery Skyline).
“Architects Of A New Weave” was produced by Tom S. Englund and Vikram Shankar, with Adam “Nolly” Getgood handling the mix.
Among the exclusive formats for “Architects Of A New Weave”, the standout is the CD edition with a bonus disc, featuring two extra tracks, Heights and One Heart, as well as the album mix of the previously released standalone single Oxygen (2025) – a single that, incidentally, isn’t on the new album. The bonus disc also adds a demo version of Longing and an instrumental version of Leaving The Emptines – both of them new songs – plus a live version of Falling From The Sun, a fan favorite from the previous album “Theories of Emptiness” (2024) and the follow-up to Ominous from “A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament)”, released in 2022.
