Lex Legion, the metal supergroup made up of four fifths of the late-’80s King Diamond lineup, have joined forces in a brand-new band for the release of their self-titled studio debut!
The lineup features Mikkey Dee (drums), Andy La Rocque (guitar), Pete Blakk (guitar), Hal Patino (bass) and Pagan’s Mind vocalist Nils K. Rue (Pagan’s Mind), bringing decades of experience from big names like Motörhead and Scorpions, among others, and of course King Diamond.
Lex Legion will drop their self-titled debut album in June via MNRK Music Group, heading back to their musical roots while keeping things fresh and direct. Built on straightforward arrangements, punchy melodies and virtuoso fireworks, the album reflects the band’s commitment to writing music strictly on their own terms.
So the debut lands this year, and a tour is coming next year!
Below you can check out the second single, Gypsy Tears, which comes with an official music video directed by Patric Ullaeus (rEvolver Film Company). The band previously released the single Sleep Eternally.
