Exumer, the long-running German thrash metal outfit, unveil the video and single Blinding Skies, which you can check out below. The single comes from their devastating new album “Death Mask Messiah”, out now on Metal Blade Records.
“Death Mask Messiah” is the first new Exumer studio album in years. It’s the logical follow-up to their previous three records! The eleven tracks on this new beast were produced by Dominic Paraskevopoulos (Kreator, Caliban), with mixing and mastering handled by Arthur Rizk (Soulfly, King Diamond), and they deliver the raw, in-your-face brutality that remains the band’s trademark even in 2026.
Recorded between December 2025 and January 2026, “Death Mask Messiah” is also the first Exumer LP tracked with a new rhythm section: drummer Jerome Reil and bassist Alex Voss.
Nasty Ronnie Galletti, vocalist of Nasty Savage, contributed guest vocals on a cover of the Nasty Savage classic Unchained Angel.
The cover art for the new album was created by Björn Gooßes.
