Generation Radio Unveil Video and Single “The Melody”

0 36

Generation Radio is a new music project that came together a few years ago on the initiative of the Italian label Frontiers Music Srl., and they dropped their self-titled studio debut in August 2022!

It’s a brand-new supergroup that brings together the untapped talents of two music veterans: Jay DeMarcus, a two-time Grammy winner best known for his work in the country outfit Rascal Flatts, and Jason Scheff, who spent more than thirty years as bassist and vocalist in the legendary American multi-platinum rock band Chicago.

Musically, this lineup is meant to satisfy the cravings of classic West Coast AOR fans, meaning Generation Radio lean on the style of Journey, Survivor and Chicago too.

Now the band is rolling out a fresh original single, the track The Melody, which comes with an official music video you can check out below. Before that, Generation Radio put out the single Montana Sky.

With the new single, Generation Radio are teasing a new studio album titled “Take Two”, which will land on April 17, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

The album “Take Two”, produced by Generation Radio themselves, is already available to pre-order.

The band, founded by Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts) and Jason Scheff (ex-Chicago), also features some other big names. Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Average White Band) has joined on drums, replacing Deen Castronovo, who went back to Journey as a full-fledged member. Rounding out the lineup are Tom Yankton (guitar, vocals) and Chris Rodriguez (guitar, vocals).
