Generator are back with a new single, “Air gets clear”, taken from their new album “Iluzije”, released this March.
A dance ballad with a slight electronic touch, the lyrics are all about trusting yourself, following your gut, and believing you can reach your goal even when there’s no clear path ahead.
A leap into the unknown – together, from the top of Kobala. No risk, just faith in your heart, on their wedding day. Moments in the air. Moments of bliss. And realizations that come to those who dare to seek.
When all the searching and doubting is behind you, when you’ve gotten through the tough times, you realize there’s always light waiting at the end of the tunnel.
“Air gets clear” is a story about searching – for yourself, for someone else, or for meaning. About that moment when the air clears and it becomes obvious where to go next.
The music was written by Anina Wheba and Joseph Wheba, the lyrics by Anina Wheba, and the arrangement is credited to the whole Generator lineup.
Recording and production were handled by Miha Arnuš and Joseph Wheba, with mastering by Matej Gobec.
The video was shot by Anina Wheba.
Huge thanks to Gregor and Mitja for an amazing paragliding experience.
About Generator
Generator is an electric-acoustic induction that converts motion into electric waves. Their story began on Youth Day in 2016, when they found themselves in the middle of a jam session under one roof at the autonomous cultural zone Sokolc in Novo mesto. Defying all the laws of physics, they fused into one big family. Truth be told, half of them come from the same gene pool. The band has nine members: singer Anina and her English boyfriend, her mom’s husband, the husband’s friend, the friend’s son, three Turks and one Cesar. Genre-unbound, they roam through an eclectic blend of styles that reveals their eccentric mix of characters and flirts with questions of identity and unconditional love. Something for everyone and someone for all. They believe in spreading the right energy and love across borders and generations, past space and time.
